The Alberto Mendelzon Workshop (AMW) is the main venue in data management in Latin America. It aims to create opportunities for dissemination and exchange of research results from globally produced investigations, encouraging participants to propose innovative and technological developments. Some of the most important researchers world wide in data management send their research works to this workshop. Pablo Barceló was the workshop's general chair and some of the researchers of the center (Juan Reutter, Marcelo Arenas, Carlos Buil, etc.) published their works in this venue.
