On January 2015 the Center for Semantic Web Research will be hosting the first CSWR Workshop on Semantic Web Data Management, and the 1st School on Efficient Extraction of Semantic Web Data. The summer school is aimed at postgraduate and senior undergraduate students with basic undergraduate-level knowledge on computer science, with interests in databases, logic, algorithms and information retrieval. The CSWR will provide full scholarships to students in Chile and Latin America that cover travel and accommodation expenses, plus registration in the school and workshop. The workshop will be on the 12th and 13th of January, 2015 and it will consist of a mix of presentations of the center’s collaborators and extended talks given by invited speakers.
